The Silver Jubilee Celebrations of Matsyafed started with the unveiling of the 25 years logo at Tagore Centenary Hall, Thiruvananthapuram on 10th December 2008. The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of Shri. S. Sharma, Hon'ble Minister for Fisheries and Registrations, Government of Kerala who unveiled the Silver Jubilee logo, which signifies the milestone achieved by the Federation in the field of Fishery Sector and 1001 member Organising Committee was constituted.
